I had a free sample of Gourmet Tuna and Shrimp Soup (Whatever next!) which Boots seem to enjoy very much. I looked at them today whilst shopping, at £2 for a box of four small sachets I’m not going to buy them normally, but the single sachets (90p !!!) are 8 for £3 at Tesco if you are interested.
If my two decide after 2-3 they still like them, I may buy when on offer as a treat.
"refined broth" my - I bet that's just watered down gravy.
I was advised to do that with our cats' wet food because they both had kidney disease when they were elderly and it was a way of introducing more liquid into their diet. They loved it too.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I've had samples too but had to save them up until I had two. My two wolfed then down but both were still looking for more food afterwards so it's not enough to fill them up. But they are big cats so they eat quite a lot.
I think Whiskas do a soup version as well that might be better value.

I used to do that with Sacha's food also as he'd had bladder/kidney issues and wasn't a great drinker of water from his bowl. But he seemed to like having his food on the sloppy side.
I think it's only meant to be a treat Tinks, it wouldn't fill my two up either lol!
Mine only like food in jelly normally, as Nellie says it is quite watery.
I did wonder as it was such a tiddly portion. Alf necked it in about two seconds flat. I think the Whiskas one is a bit more substantial. Mind you the way Alf is eating at the minute prawn curry and chips wouldn't fill him up!!
We've given our Millie these fancy treats before, but every time we do, she refuses to go back to her regular food afterwards. At least until she's absolutely starving.
Luckily she now seems to favour Aldi own brand cat food over anything else, so everyone's happy.
