I thought I had better try to be good because I quite like living here and it’s taken a while but I’ve got mum well trained for my needs now which mainly revolve around food, more food and treats! The hardest bit is still getting her up in the morning. I have learned to wait until it gets light, and not to keep hurling myself into the curtains as she is a bit quick with that squirty thing that fires jets of water! I’ve moved on to pathetic mews and using her as a springboard from one side of the bed to the other and it works even better!
I don’t chew the computer cables anymore, that Crittercord stuff doesn’t taste very nice, I got bored walking across the mantelpiece and I haven’t scratched the new sofa, not even since mum removed all the Sticky Paws tape.
Of course, I must occupy myself somehow throughout the day. I love fighting all the mats and throwing them about, mum has moved my water bowl to a new location now. I love inspecting cupboards, handbags and suitcases and my favourite is . . . anything that rustles! Particularly tin foil or plastic bags. Mum got very upset when I was helping to pack up the summerhouse cushions in the photos, rabbiting on about them being airtight or something.
The look in the photos where he's helping with the cushions is what my dad calls "a cat with the wind up its tail" lol. Lovely Boots has grown into quite the debonair puss. When he hasn't got the wind up his tail.
Another birthday I missed and the most important one of all. Happy very belated Birthday Boots, you are quite the cutie and so helpful around the house. (didn't have one of hugging a kitty, sorry!)
