The bird selling Lalique perfume has just said that if you wear this perfume you will feel like the sort of sophisticated woman who jets off to Paris and New York and lives in a fabulous apartment.
Oh it's twaddle isn't it? Describing the lifestyle/personality of the person who would like the perfume is pointless. Better to give perfumes that are similar or to describe the style and the notes.
I gave both Lalique and Lulu a miss, though I didn't mind watching the Molton Brown show prior to them. Quite a nice guest presenter on, don't know her name, but she's back on at 9 pm tonight...if they've got anything left to sell. Flying out the door it was!
I get my Molton Brown from another online store and works out cheaper. I hasten to add that I only buy it for Christmas gifts. Home Bargains handwash and Tesco's vanilla shower gel suits me. My friends who use my cloakroom etc don't care whether I've got some expensive soap or a cheap one because they know I don't 'do' designer brands. I am lucky in that I could afford to kit every sink out with pukka stuff, but why wash your money down the drain?
