I returned an unwise purchase via Royal Mail on Thursday. I have been using Hermes but decided because of the huge number of packages they are delivering at the moment I would be better off with the Post Office if I got it sorted before the strike. Parcel handed over approx 2.40p.m. Thursday , refund email complete with p&p sent 2.56 a.m. this morning. I'm impressed! Always get great quick refunds from other retailers but not usually Le Q.
I've had a couple of speedy ones from La Q. Unlike pigging Amazon. I can't even get them to pick up the parcel do I've no chance of getting a refund this side of Christmas. I hate Amazon with a passion. I only ordered because they were the only ones with what I wanted in stock. Except they didn't have it either. Reconditioned sold as new. I should have known better. Did I mention I hate Amazon and they're sitting on £184 of my money. Robbing shysters.

That's not good Tinks. I haven't had any problems with Amazon and have managed to return items fuss free too. You need to keep at their CS and demand action. Have you posted on the feedback pages?
The customer service has been formulaic to say the least. Courier came yesterday apparently although no one in an office building of about 20 people saw him and neither did he leave a card. Trying again for Monday. Even if he rocks up on Monday that's still an extra three days before they even start to process said refund.
It doesn't cause me any real hardship but it pips me off. And I think it's very wrong to not flag up that an item is reconditioned. And even more wrong to sell a reconditioned item at the RRP!!
But then again I hate Amazon anyway lol. I think they're getting their own back because I boycotted them for years.
This saga has gone on a bit. I shall give the edited highlights and the punchline.
Amazon finally collected duff one AO failed to deliver new one AO failed to deliver new one for the second time AO delivered new one Amazon finally agreed to issued a refund after initially quoting 3 to 4 weeks in total AO delivered second one!! AO to collect second one tomorrow. We wait. Amazon refund due next week. We wait.
I shall never ever order another food processor as long as I live. I'll buy the bugga in a shop or go without.

I am not an enthusiastic cook and am using the same one I got many years ago - it mainly gets used for making breadcrumbs for stuffing ( not necessary this year), chopping mint to make mint sauce ( mint plants have died after a vigorous pruning) , cake making ( not this year) and that's about it.
I have the older version of the one I've bought for Baby Tink. It's a Bosch and I love it. It gets used most weeks. It has a blender attachment so that does soups. I used it to grate, chop and slice. It has a mini attachment that's brilliant for herbs, garlic, chilli and the like. It has a mixer attachment and it can do simple things like beating eggs or cream. I wouldn't use it to make cakes though.
Baby Tink is a real foodie and cooks lots of things at home like Chinese, Indian, Italian so I know he will use it. He also had a decent sized kitchen with masses of cupboard space so it won't be cluttering up the place either.
On the mint front, I use loads. I have it in pots rather than in the garden. And I also have a huge bed of it on the allotment to top up but rotating your pots throughout the season will keep the supply coming and the plants thriving. I always have one pot recovering, one I'm clipping and one ready to be clipped.

It's Mr FP in charge Tinks. Due to its capacity to spread like wildfire the mint was planted in several old buckets to keep root management easier. He does like a good prune and possibly after his retirement at the end of March and more time to spend in the garden got over enthusiastic!
