Discovered these during the Amazon sales. I love my fountain pens but since retiring have not used them as much as they can leak when in your handbag when not used much so I decided to try this innovation from Parker. You feel as if you are writing with a proper fountain pen, your handwriting looks great and there is no mess. Expensive for initial outlay in comparison to a Fountain Pen at £23 and I did see some for over a £100 but a writing instrument should be a thing of beauty. The refills are cheap and you can get different coloured inks.

I have used those in the past but there is nothing like a beautiful fountain pen case to inspire your handwriting to be of the best. Pilots don't have that metal appeal. I am a pen tart.

Me too Tinks , but this 5th Generation thingy writes beautifully for me. Possibly because the writing system is bendy rather than the non bendiness of a proper fountain pen. It's a glorified felt tip really.
