Never used eyecreams regularly but occasionally the LE eyebright. Of course it was Ali Young who taught me to use prolagene gel before a serum then daycream. I am much better in the mornings at putting stuff on , at bedtime I quite often don't . My operation scars healed beautifully thanks to the prolagene gel. I am hopeless about body moisturiser and it only goes on if I am trying to make my legs look less lilywhite.
I don't bother much with lotions and potions now, having tried all the branded ones on QVC when I first got Freeview and when I believed all their hype. I cleanse with Garnier micellar water, I don't bother with a night cream and in the day time I use Ultrasun for the face (all year round) as a moisturiser. If I'm going out I whack on a small amount of Becca backlighting primer. I'm fortunate that I don't have wrinkles, apart from a few laughter lines, and I don't have any number 11s or lines on my forehead. They wouldn't show anyway because I have a fringe.
I might have tried the new cream on my neck a few years ago but my neck is okay, so I'll save my money. I'm lucky in that people think I'm in my 40s, when I'm most definitely not, but it's down to my genes and the fact that I've never sat out in the sun, rather than creams and serums. I'm sure that one day I'll wake up with a face that looks like a road map of Britain though.
I've got a £5 off voucher for a No7 serum, this one included. Must be used in the next 10 days and can't be used online so if anyone is wanting to try this and can get to a store then I'll happily pop it in the post to you x x
In the interest of the forum I tried this serum. I'm about four weeks in I think and I honestly can't see any difference. Also the 30ml tube is nearing the end so it doesn't last that long. You seem to need quite a bit compared to other serums I've used. I don't much like the smell ... vaguely chemical. I don't hate it but I don't love it. And I can't see any visible reason to keep using it.
I've only been using a serum for about the last 12 months and in fact I've really only used the B serum from Superdrug and I think I'll stick to that.
So. There you are. In my opinion not worth the money or effort.
It's good to get feedback. 32 bought me a tube of No7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum for Christmas. Quite a strong smell so I've not used it on my face, but I've been using it on the backs of my hands.
My hands are in good nick what with No7 serum & Cein (Lidl) Anti-aging sun cream for face and neck. Anything I get that is too perfumed for my face goes somewhere on my body LOL
It's definitely not a pleasant smell. I am happy to use quite perfumed potions because my skin isn't sensitive at all but this smells clinical and chemical.
I don't think I use anything by No7 other that nail varnish remover every once in a while.
I think I mentioned on some other thread that my skin seems to be getting more sensitive by the week & I avoid anything perfumed. Well a mozzie got me on my forehead in the summer and the bite refused to disappear completely. I tried everything in the medicine cabinet & then turned to my very limited stash of creams & lotions. Then I had a go at what 28 & 34 had in their bathrooms. It eventually morphed into a pink, flaking, dry thing. Two nights ago I found the BCC Kipling bag & the contents I had not used and as much as I hate the smell, I slapped on SBC's Collagen Skincare Gel. It's gone The stuff is full of alcohol, bright pink & stinks, but it's gone & no reaction so far

I have some of that. I was going to use it to switch up my usual prolagene gel for ‘ centrally heated skin’ as the QVC consultants would put it.I will try that on my resistant to wart treatment tags.
