It all sounds very complicated. I use whatever is on offer at the Supermarket which, for the last few years, have been these products ~ biotencosmetics.com/ Never paid more than 5 euros.
I have tried serums but they make me feel overloaded so just moisturiser on face morning and night. I only use sun cream if I am going to be walking around outside at midday, it is much overused and clogs the skin.I don't think my skin is bad for a 70+ lady.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I think I mentioned on some other thread that my skin seems to be getting more sensitive by the week & I avoid anything perfumed. Well a mozzie got me on my forehead in the summer and the bite refused to disappear completely. I tried everything in the medicine cabinet & then turned to my very limited stash of creams & lotions. Then I had a go at what 28 & 34 had in their bathrooms. It eventually morphed into a pink, flaking, dry thing. Two nights ago I found the BCC Kipling bag & the contents I had not used and as much as I hate the smell, I slapped on SBC's Collagen Skincare Gel. It's gone The stuff is full of alcohol, bright pink & stinks, but it's gone & no reaction so far
I like the smell of collagen gel. It doesn't improve my skin but the smell is OK.

I use alcohol based treatments for my flabby neck, taken orally, usually in the form of Guinness. It doesn't reduce the flab, but it does stop me worrying about it...
Tell me about SBC gels. My face should have fallen off by now, but it hasn't. Quite the opposite. Over the last few days I've gone from putting it on just the mozzie bite to just forehead to 'T' zone to full face & neck. No reaction. Why not I want to know
This is one item that I do use. Iâve left it on and then peeled it off and have also rubbed it off so it acts like an exfoliator. I do find that, on my skin, the oil/serum that is left behind takes ages to soak into my skin though and so I usually end up patting it off with a tissue as I donât think that the âoil slickâ look suits me. đ
