A nearby neighbour has two schnauzers exactly the same as those except they are girls. Lovely little dogs with nice natures, my stepdaughter has one too. How lovely they were found and not been kidnapped!
Last Saturday I decided to get Harvey's prawns ready for his tea. I'd no idea where he was and had called him with no luck. I was going out and thought I'll get em ready then get on with my shower and wotnot.
I took the packet out of the fridge. Cut round three sides of the plastic container, took out a prawn ready to cut it up and there he was, sitting beside me and leaning against my leg lol. I've no idea where he was. He certainly wasn't anywhere I'd looked in the house or garden.
And before Mr M tuts at me for cutting them up, Alfie had no teeth so I've just got into the habit. Poor Alfie used to have to run to and fro with a whole prawn for me to cut or break them up so he could gum them down lol. Harvey could probably eat em while but I think this prolongs the meal.
We (my parents) used to have a sausage dog, one of those Dachshund things. Vicious little bugger used to snarl and growl at everyone, only my Dad could control it.
Greedy too, it used to try and steal food off your plate. The final straw was when it learnt how to break into the fridge by using it's long nose and stole the Sunday joint. Dad had to make a lock for the fridge door to stop it. It's last act of hostility was when it took a chunk out of my Nan's ankle, that was the end.
