A pair of nice comfy Morland boots for me, £50 off in the sale. They're as warm as the Emu/Ugg type boots but nowhere near as ugly, lovely quality too.
Well my boots have arrived. The zips are a bit stiff which they didn't flipping ought to be given the price if the boots but there it is.
But wonders will never cease ... they do fit both my chubby calves and my slim ankles. And they're long enough in the leg. I'm quite stunned really. Often boots that fit my calves are too big around the ankle. The problem with that is that the boots scrunch down with wear and time so what starts off at knee high ends up toe or three inches below knee high. And my blipping knee are high up in the first place. I have long lower legs for someone who ain't particularly tall.

Bet it made the day seem brighter Tinks- nothing like buying something that you really look good in and feels comfortable to boot( see what I did there).
Its also fab to be back in heels. I need to keep wearing the heels now. It is so easy to go for flats all the time but if I don't wear heels more regularly then I won't. And I don't want to give them up when I don't need to. Going for heels every other day this week. Or days when I haven't got loads of walking to do. Breaking myself in.
Ooh, they're nice! I like the shape of the toe. I have a pair of high heel black knee lengths. They fit fine around the calf and ankle and are long enough, but they are a little too pointy for my liking - I prefer a more rounded toe, like yours. I do wear mine, they are not totally wrong, but I keep hoping they will wear out so I can buy a new pair!
They're replacing some I bought from Duo about four or five years ago. They wear and last really well. I like a really good quality pair of black knee high boots. I do have other colours but they tend to be sale purchases.
