A controversial documentary about Princess Diana, featuring private video footage of her speaking to her voice coach, aired on Channel 4 last night. The tapes have been broadcast before - by US network NBC in 2004. I confess I only watched bits of it. Did anyone else watch & form an opinion?
I gather it's divided opinions hugely going by the fuss they were kicking up on the telly this morning. Seems it puts Charlie Boy in an even worse light than he was already in, while people in general were pleased to see Diana's more relaxed side in the video footage from Kensington Palace.
But like I said, I didn't watch it so can't really form an opinion.
I have studiously avoided all the Diana fest on tv in and the papers but I will be watching the programme about her stepmother, Raine Spencer, if only to see if clues are given about how her massive bouffant hairdo was achieved.
I saw her once and she had a circular, straw disc attached to the back of her coiffure with no visible sign of support. I was fascinated by it and kept creeping up behind her to get a better look - I came to the conclusion it must have been glued in place.
She was really tall - much taller even than me!
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
