How the mighty are fallen! Nice cowl neck jumper though.

I like the song too. I can't wear polo, turtle or any other neck sweaters as they feel as if someone has their fingers round my throat and they are hot. Last time I wore a pully was the V necked one as part of school uniform over 50 years ago.

However, if I feel throttled when it arrives it'll go straight back.

Boringly I decided to go for black. I would have gone for camel, but with my colouring it would have made me look washed out. I seriously considered the burgundy and blue one but went for black in the end because it will go with anything I wear on the bottom, i.e. trousers or a skirt.

Black would probably always be my first choice too though.

Ordered it at 9 a.m.this morning and it's already been dispatched. thumbs up

It's coming via Hermes which suits me fine as the whole team that delivers in my area know where to leave parcels if I'm out and I'll be Oop North on Sunday/Monday, which is when it will probably be delivered.

It's a shame that Hermes weren't delivering the last thing I ordered. QVC sent the dispatch email, saying it was coming via Royal Mail. Ten days after that dispatch email it hasn't turned up. I rang CS this evening to ask for the "I haven't received my item" letter and they told me it was actually coming via TNT. (What an explosive choice! 😉 )

Why on EARTH would QVC send a ring via a courier rather than RM? x_x

It's probably lying at the bottom of a huge great lorry, never to be seen again!

In days of yore when we got advance tip offs about TSVs, I can remember ordering one and it being delivered before it was even aired!
