I just can't make up my mind which lightweight vacuum to buy so I've decided on this for the time being. Need something for a quick blast round, especially with impending kitty litter on the horizon! Will be interesting to see how it fairs, I love the little manual sweeper I have now, they are great for "bits". Living alone I don't need to do a thorough vacuum all the time, and I can still use the tools on my traditional one for the time being. Am off to get it this afternoon and get it charged - watch this space for review lol!
I'm sure you'll love the GTech, Frazz. I've got one and it's the best thing I've bought from QVC (with the exception of the Golden Gark) and, since having it, I've not used my 'conventional' hoover at all. It's lightweight and is powerful enough to leave tramlines on the carpets. It's also great on tiled floors.
I am sorry to say my GTech sweeper was spectacularly bloody useless. I bought it in the sale. It is great when it works but it couldn't hold the charge so it was a complete waste of money. I should have taken it back really.
Mine's the Air Ram. Wouldn't be without it now. I've also got the basic sweeper by GTech, but I can't remember the last time I charged it up and used it.
I've bought the sweeper in the link for now, I think I'm happy to wait for something better to come on the market as a cordless vacuum. I've looked and played with all of them the last couple of months and nothing has really impressed me that much unfortunately. I definitely don't want to have to buy a separate gadget for the tools, so I'll have to leave it for a while.
It's charging at moment, I'll give it a test run tomorrow. The postman had bought me a nice surprise from "Mr Ernie" when I got home, so It feels like a real bargain at the moment!
It's only since Meg had 4 or 5 bouts of cystitis on the trot that I bought a litter tray. She couldn't ask me to go out in the night when we were in bed and she was hanging on to it until we got up. Not good for bladder problems.
Well, it does what it says on the tin. No more effective than my manual one, but it is superb on the hard kitchen floor which has made it worth buying, and it's easy to manoeuvre.
