The fallout from last weeks' storm mean we have no TV here. OH's attempts to fix the satelite dish were a success but little did he know that all the time the sky+ box had been damaged. Anyway he phoned Sky on Thursday evening and they told him we could not get an engineer out until this Wednesday. That's almost a full week without TV.
All our channels go through sky, even the Irish ones so it's very quiet in the house. We did not even have a radio until this morning when I insisted we go and buy one and we are listening to it now. OH put a DVD on to watch on Friday and found out that the DVD player was busted too! LOL. It was fine the night before because we watched a film. Ever feel things are not going your way?
The two boys are in the other room watching DVDs on their player. We don't venture in there very often. I know in the UK you can get bbc player and watch programmes on the computer. We can't do that here.
What did people do before TV? I am missing Countryfile and can't watch the new series of Call The Midwife. SOB!
Thats poo Anna. I don't always watch it but its always on in the background
I am the same Yorko. It's always on here.
The worst thing is that Arsenal were playing Man City this afternoon and it was being shown live. Of course I could not see it. We did listen to it on the radio though which was better than nothing I suppose.

My sister has some sort of BBC service in Germany that she pays for so she can watch some of our programmes. When Mr FP goes abroad on business he sometimes downloads BBC programmes before he goes and can watch them. He is willing to watch Football in any language and often does!
