Where’s the Daddy?

How did the gentleman with the
camera get so close?

I used to leave dry food out for stray
cats when I lived in the southern part
of the United States.
There was a stray cat problem
in the county I lived in.

One night an opossum came up and began
eating some of the cat food.
I saw it through the sliding glass door screen
and said, "Go away!" and it showed some
scary teeth and sort of hissed at me.

Maybe this poor thing, as a mother of 15
is just too tired to be feisty.
