Mr Tink is working today so we're having a lasagne and garlic bread round at his later. I've already made the lasagne and we've already got garlic dough balls in the freezer. Job done!
We've got the Big allotment challenge ready to watch.
I do enjoy both staying in for a nice meal, with or without friends or going out. We tend to go out one night a week and often that's a Saturday but more recently we've been going out mid week.
The other thing we do is go out for a late breakfast or tea and buns in the afternoon on a Sunday. We enjoy our lazy winter Sundays. Come early March allotmenting really kicks in so our Sundays are far from lazy.
I try to go out once a week, but it doesn't always work out.
I much prefer people coming to me, especially when it's cold! I hate getting out of my comfies to get dressed up to go out when it's freezing. When did that happen, never used to worry me? shimmy banana

We stand at the unit either side of the cooker chopping and so on, chatting about whatever comes to mind. I really enjoy it! When we had finished preparing we sat down to eat and watched the latest CSI we had recorded.
We are off out on Monday ('Cats' at the Palladium) so nothing too strenuous for me for a few days before! Not that we would have gone out anyway, mind. We often didn't even when we could - we prefer each other's company, always have!
I think what it is with me is I allow myself to be distracted by any number of annoying people behaving badly or loudly, on mobiles they need to be surgically removed from for example. Background music that is anything but! I find the cinema stressful because it's so loud, have to use earplugs! Much more fun around the table at home with some friends, food and wine, or watching a DVD. I enjoyed this far more when I young, so its not an age thing for me. I like small restaurants that have just a few tables, like my local Indian...
