Does Simon really design these? Another awful offering - should we have a whip round to buy this for Toril's hospital stay or would she bin it? It's £29.60
This A-shaped top from Butler & Wilson features a large rose placement print on a grey body, with short sleeves and a round neckline. Pair with your favourite skinny jeans, some statement heels and plenty of jewellery for a stand-out party look.
Front: 94% polyester, 6% elastane; back and sleeves: 96% viscose, 4% elastane Hand wash cold
I visualising Toril trying to get the skinny jeans over her knee post op!!!
Fat chance. big laugh I wouldn't wear skinny jeans pre-op, never mind post-op.
I've just bought a nightdress and co-ordinating lightweight dressing gown from M&S for when I go in. I thought I'd better get something as I sleep 'au natruel' (that's a nice image for you all zzz) and I didn't want to risk traumatising the consultant. And I think the B&W 'outfit' would have a similar effect on him.
I keep one of these in a drawer for such occasions, it's standard practice to walk to theatre if you're able these days, and their gowns are open at the back!!

I wasn't necessarily for the walk to theatre but to protect my modesty (and to save putting the other patients and staff into rehab) when I'm wandering backwards and forwards to the physio sessions. I've even invested in some slippers of the same colour so I'll be a nice and smart hobbling patient, albeit like Yorko's emoticon. show bum
