Grim. Heavy rain and high winds forecast for the day.
Wales is set to bear the brunt of the high winds and heavy rain on Tuesday and Wednesday as the remnants of Hurricane Lee hit the UK. The Met Office says that the "heaviest and most persistent" rain will be across parts of Wales and northwest England and there is a warning of gales of up to 60mph.
The gardener’s due to come to do the leylandai hedge on Friday, assuming it’s not pouring with rain. He’s also due to sweep up the garden so hopefully he’ll deal with all the leaves that I haven’t had a chance to do. 🤞

I'd already filled a wheely bin with leaves on Friday, lots more materialised over the weekend but I decided as it was raining to leave them until today and miracle of miracles the wind has whipped them all away, result!
