Like Frazz I haven’t needed to put on the heating yet and as the thermostat is set to 10C it’s very unlikely that it will come on automatically. A throw will come into play when I start feeling cold. Once the throw is no longer doing the trick, then I’ll turn the thermostat up.
I've just come in and the temperature display on the car's dashboard says it's 3c, I haven't put the heating on yet but it's quite a comfortable temperature indoors even though it's chilly out
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
Newcastle 4c at the moment, rising to 12c later. As that is considered to be tropical, here, there will be shorts and crop tops in abundance, I have no doubt…
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
Me too Toril, I've broken out a long sleeved lightweight top it was still 3c when I went to hydrotherapy this morning but the pool was lovely and warm!

What!? I'm freezing & I'm wrapped up so tight my arms don't touch my sides. And I'm not the only one here feeling the cold. Ruby is buried under a cushion on the sofa and Oz is under the stairs in his cwtch.
We'll be battening down the hatches that's for sure.
I wonder if the bandstand will survive. It jumped back six inches towards the fence during one of the storms last year. Now it lists to the right. Himself levelled the ground and ... He also recently levelled the ground for the shed's new position and that (yes you guessed it), leans to the left.
