We'll probably be getting floods soon, a good dose of snow this morning to add to what was lying, was gone in a matter of hours.
It was -1c when I went to work at 6.15am, by mid morning it was up to 4c and tonight it's 13c. We've also seen howling gales with 50mph crosswinds across the moor road which wasn't nice when still avoiding the icy patches, that's now given way to gusty winds but with no let up in the rain. Dog not happy.

Oh stop complaining and look on the bright side, according to Sky News, Storm Bert has been great at providing lots more wind-powered energy than usual. Their wording is positively glowing.
So far, my area has escaped the worst of it. We had a bit of rain but that’s stopped and it’s relatively bright this morning. The wind’s been the worst bit and, as I’m surrounded by trees, I’m sure you can guess what greeted me when I opened the door this morning. So that’s been another wheelie bin bag filled. 🙄 Still, it was a bit of exercise.
It’s 15C at the moment and there’s a yellow warning for strong winds until this evening, so no doubt I’ll be getting exercise outside for much of the day. 🙄
