It might be slow, but it's not predictable and it's a long time since I watched something on the box & couldn't guess what was coming next. I think that's why I like it so much.

I was really enjoying it till about the last two episodes , now although I agree you cannot predict the ending ,that ending can't come quick enough, not through excitement to see what will happen, but because of the slowness.
There are still a few things we have to sort out Flying Pigs. You can't abandon ship yet.
*what or who killed Professor Stoddart? * what's happened to Dr Allerdyce? Last we knew she was still alive. What's lurking in her gut? * why hasn't the little girl Carrie Morgan been affected? She was with Liam Sutter when he found the mammoth & she handled the tooth so how come she got off scot-free ...or has she? *what about the mammoth juice in the drains?
.... was going to open her eyes & spew out something when Vincent bent over her. I imagined it was going to be on the lines of Alien - it was going to come out of her stomach. That scene suggests Vincent is down & out then.
And what about Morton!? That was a shocker. Last week he said a 9mm bullet was survivable. The liar!
The rumour is there will be a season 2. I suppose it depends on who is left. I hope Dan survives. Shame about Henry & Morton though. Those 3 were the top dogs as far as I'm concerned.
