I can't reverse into my drive. I share a drive with my neighbour and her other half drives a transit van so if I reverse in, I can't get out of/in to my car as my doors are low and need to open really wide. If her car is there I can to it but I dare not risk it.
And getting out is a mare sometimes because my neighbour opposite parks his car on the road. So with the van beside me and the car behind and slightly to my right, I either have to reverse out to my left and go down the cul de sac and turn round. OR I can reverse straight across and into my neighbour opposite's drive.
Now the later pips them off but as my exit route is partially down to their inconsiderate parking I reverse into their drive every chance I get lol.
They haven't said anything to me about it so until they grow the nadgers to do so I shall carry on.
Yep it amuses the hell out of me. I know I shouldn't wind them up but if he didn't park there I could reverse out easily. It is slightly easier if I drive out but driving out is only an option when I know my neighbour is away (which she often is as she's an air hostess).
I don't pip them off enough to stop them asking me to feed their fish when they're on holiday.
The miserable old so and so over the road objected to our planning application to put up a wall and gates, because he has such high hedges he can't see to reverse out of his drive. Before we moved here, he was used to driving in to our drive, and then reversing up in to his. Even before we had our electric gates, whenever we went out, we closed our gate. He objected on the grounds that it would be dangerous to have to wait for the gates to open, and that it would change the whole look of the avenue big laugh. Bearing in mind we live in a no through road, I don't know who on earth it would be dangerous for. Anyway, get didn't get his way, and as soon as we did ours, our next door neighbour did the same. I can't bear people like that trying to dictate what people can and can't do on their own property.
