Bought these socks this week, and they are lovely.
I'm not diabetic but have problems finding comfortable socks. These are mainly cotton, no horrible toes seam and with a really soft cuff. I have been wearing bamboo socks, but seem to have become allergic to them!

Keep me posted Frazz as to comfort etc. I have virtually stopped wearing socks because I find them so uncomfortable but the last ones I got were supposed to be silk/ bamboo. I wore my ankle boots on their own last winter (all other clothes present and correct) and only wear the 60% M&S ankle socks when socks are necessary. I rely on comfortable warm slippers chez nous. I am eyeing up a pair of teddy bear Arizona style birkis for this winter indoors.
I can't sleep with cold feet but, if I fall asleep with socks on I wake up fighting to take them off because my feet are too hot!
This time year is more frustrating because it's too soon to swap the quilt, but I need a throw across the bottom of the bed otherwise I wake up with cold feet!
......and Mr Nell calls me the Princess and the Pea!
We are Princess and Pea twinnies, Nellie! I can feel the slightest ruck in the bottom sheet, hence my nickname, too.
A couple of weeks ago, Sam AKA the absent-minded professor, took a clean, dry fitted sheet straight from the clothesline and put it on the bed -they don't need ironing and we don't have any covers, this weather.
A couple of days later, I removed it to wash it and, on his side underneath, were 2 plastic clothes pegs in small pieces!
How he had managed to not see them in the first place, was anybody's guess, but for them to have been broken up, he must have been writhing around on them for a couple of nights! When I showed him, he just shrugged and said "never felt a thing" .
I have spent more than 30 years with him and he never fails to surprise me...
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
