Well, I have just checked my bank account and it makes a change to say thank you QVC for great service.
I bought a Cubii elliptical exercise machine at the beginning of January this year, which has been brilliant, I use it all the time. It started to make an intermittant rattle in the summer, like ball bearings knocking together or something. I was getting worried it might get worse and definitely didn't want to have it breaking down over winter in the current circumstances.
I phoned them at the end of October and they apologised that they weren't able to replace it, but would collect and give me a full refund. Hermes collected it on the 27th, I took a chance and bought another one and the refund was made yesterday.

That’s interesting Frazz, because my reviber electric minibike has a fault in that the pedal fails after 2 years ( I am on my 3rd) and I had been thinking about getting a cubii next time. It is a design fault on the reviber. The cheapest I have seen is on one of the other shopping channels. The reviber is considerably cheaper. Mr FP has spare reviber parts in the garage but it always the same pedal and you can’t reverse it. I can’t afford not to keep my ankle and knees moving.
Have to say the Q seems to have improved on refunds. I returned an item on Monday 25th October (2nd class) and the refund was made on Thursday 28th October!!!!
I can only say the Cubii is very well made and solid Berry McPaper-cuts, it is also whisper quiet in use, unless the ball bearings are rattling! I sure I was just unlucky, or it had been dropped during delivery possibly.
It's perfect for me as I can't walk regularly due to feet issues. I have never still being using an exercise machine after nearly 12 months, I love it and use twice a day for 20-30mins whilst watching TV. I do some really fast steps every know and again and general fitness has slightly improved, but my legs are a lot stronger, I walk better and don't get cramp at night now, unless I've had an extra busy day.
If you decide to get one, I would recommend waiting to see if QVC have them again January. Theirs was the same price as the basic one, but came with the mat, which is essential. If you buy the basic one, there is a mat for £22 on Amazon if you search Cubii, comes from America. The ones with mats included are £40-£50 more expensive!! It's only a small spongy rubber thing, but you will need something. I kept the mat as I decided it wouldn't be required for the return. Also with QVC, you know they will come and collect it if you decide it is not suitable for you. I think the Cubii guarantee is 5 years, QVC may well honour that as they are an American company?
I keep mine with mat on another large mat, so I can drag it to move. It is very heavy (15k).

Thanks Frazz, I won’t need to buy until this current one’s pedal goes in 2 years. I would be happy if reviber updated the bike as I do like it. I have 5 programmes I can select and the backwards/ forwards and speed are done for you.
