As I shall going out more after my second jab, I need to find a more comfortable, lighter face covering than the surgical ones. I can't shop for more than 20 minutes without becoming stressed.
These arrived today from eBay seller and they are just the ticket. Pretty, well made, fit perfectly and easy to breathe.

Pretty Frazz. I bought too many last year, there are two that are very comfortable that I wash’n’wear and they don’t steam up.I will save the rest for that Saved & Remade programme. Needless to say I had to buy masks for Mr FP as he wasn’t shelling out.
I find the disposable ones more comfortable too . At first, they rubbed behind my ears then we discovered ones that have a softer tape - it looks almost like wonderweb but is very light and doesn't irritate. After having to wear one 24 hours a day for a week when I was in hospital, I barely notice them now but I am dreading the summer. It was only 21c yesterday and the mask, while not uncomfortable in itself, made me feel hot.

That’s a good point cassandra. I can’t get on with disposable ones either Liv. I have noticed some people just discard them as litter in the car park when they have come out of the shop which is horrible.
I’ve got quite a few 3 layer cloth ones, but now prefer the disposable ones as I don’t get so hot in them. I twist the ties once before putting them on and they fit well. Without doing that, the mask used to poke me in the eye when I looked down. 😳
I dispose of them at home. For a quick visit to a shop it’s easier to dispose of them, rather than having to wash them which I used to do after a single wear.
The surgical ones I use are not uncomfortable as such, just fit so well it gets difficult to breath. I will probably still use them next winter for shopping, but needed something lighter and prettier for the summer.
I wish I could wear ones like that at work but we are not allowed. I've tried nylon ones and they were awful. I use the cotton ones now, so many different ones but they do make you sound muffled after a time.
