I wear the surgical ones everyday
and they don't irritate me at all.

I find the disposable ones more comfortable too . At first, they rubbed behind my ears then we discovered ones that have a softer tape - it looks almost like wonderweb but is very light and doesn't irritate.
After having to wear one 24 hours a day for a week when I was in hospital, I barely notice them now but I am dreading the summer. It was only 21c yesterday and the mask, while not uncomfortable in itself, made me feel hot.

I’ve got quite a few 3 layer cloth ones, but now prefer the disposable ones as I don’t get so hot in them. I twist the ties once before putting them on and they fit well. Without doing that, the mask used to poke me in the eye when I looked down. 😳

I dispose of them at home. For a quick visit to a shop it’s easier to dispose of them, rather than having to wash them which I used to do after a single wear.
