Anyone who presents their beauty products with a forehead that doesn’t move are so believable (not) when they rave on about the efficacy of the cream etc. I can think of a couple of other guests like that on QVC. 😳

From the DT ‘ The first product The Morning Show actress is launching is called The Glossing Detangler, which is vegan, cruelty-free and formulated without parabens, silicones, sulfates, phthalates. It’s even gluten-free, too. The website notes, 'what you may not know about Jennifer Aniston is that she’s obsessed with medical journals, technological advances, and the latest beauty and health innovations. Her vision for LolaVie is to combine the best of science and nature.' This is hugely trendy for new brands coming to the market now, and Aniston describes it as a multi-use product to use in wet hair or dry hair.Â
So why all the fuss? Because Aniston probably has the most iconic hair in Hollywood. Not only for the most talked about and referenced haircut of the nineties, 'The Rachel'. But also at 52 she has the cut, colour and style that strikes the perfect balance between not too high-maintenance nor scruffy, either. However iconic 'The Rachel’ was, she told me in a previous interview that it was a ‘pain in the butt, to be honest. When I first met Chris McMillan, my hairstylist, at his salon in LA, he sat me down and gave me a fantastic haircut. About a month later he gave me what became known through Friends as The Rachel. ‘I had to see him every six weeks to keep this darn thing up, though, because it was a "hairdo"’, she continued. ‘I've got very thick, full hair so it would take on a shape of its own that I didn't always want. I don't think I looked very good with it.’
While the cut has been a culture reference for decades now, the look saw a huge resurgence earlier this year with the Friends Reboot, which saw searches for ‘The Rachel’ increase by 179 percent. Every hairdresser I’ve spoken to in the past three months has witnessed an uptick in requests for the ‘do. Â
Although the product has launched in America, we don’t know yet when it will be available in the UK. But expect more from Aniston’s range: an update on her trademark for LolaVie in May 2021 included ‘lotions for face and body’. There are celebrity beauty ranges, and then there are really good celebrity beauty ranges - and we have high hopes for the new collection by Jennifer Aniston. ’

‘Passengers onboard a new Canaries cruise this winter will be treated to a star-studded line-up including popular tenor Russell Watson, music icon Lulu and comedy legend Jimmy Tarbuck.’
Occasionally. Lulu’s not been on much. QVC seems to have resorted to focusing on just 4 brands nowadays, namely Marla Wynne, Dyson, Liz Earle and Elemis none of which I’m interested in. They seem to be on ad nauseum. It’s saved me a fortune though as I rarely watch the channel nowadays because it’s like Groundhog Day.

I have to say, for someone who rarely watches La Q, you always seem very well informed on what's available and which of the presenters are AWOL and why.
I used to watch it a lot, but no longer do. I occasionally watch a show if it’s something that I’m interested in but I then often buy it from Amazon as it’s usually cheaper. Any info on absentees etc that I get is by reading the QVC Facebook page as a visitor as I don’t have FB or from posts on other forums.
The reason I stopped watching was because the same products are featured and I don’t like the majority of presenters.
Just for info: I’ve just channel hopped and Lulu was on with Timebomb, which answers lily’s question. 😉

You would think the company would have kept that quiet until all passengers had paid, were on board and the ship had left port.
