I hope you also bought it a nice, roomy, escape proof cage, kyng . I remember from my youth that my brother's mice all flattened themselves until they were wafer thin and shimmied out through the bars of the wholly inadequate home he'd bought.
This looks the business:
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
Cannot even begin to describe how much fun we had today at the Hash.
The run and walk along the coast were excellent. We had a visitor from Hawaii and 2 from Dubai.
The taverna was truly great - 20 euro per head for lots of fish, chicken ,salads and sides, beer, wine. There were 27 of us and everyone came back to our house for tea/coffee/wine, and cake.
Sam pulled out the old Wii we had with 4 handsets so we had lots of silly games and Karaoki, my sides are aching with laughing.
They all left between 6-7 pm and we have cleared up and are ready to enjoy a quiet evening with family phone calls and TV...
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I went over with my friend (an ex-colleague) to the “posh” garden centre again where we met another ex-colleague (my ex-head teacher.) It was great to catch up again and we chatted there for three hours. 😳
Luckily we weren’t asked to leave for taking up a table for that length of time, despite their only having a drink and some cake. I just had a black coffee and passed on the cake.
It was incredibly windy when we arrived and it was pure luck that I grabbed my car door in time, when I was getting out, before it blew off its hinges. As it’s a coupe the doors are bigger than a “normal” car so hanging on to it served as my workout for the day. (I couldn’t find a car door in the wind smiley 😉)
What I love about here is the fact that one is never expected to vacate a table when you have bought something, even if you are there all day. I have often heard visitors say witheringly "I thought times were tough in Greece, yet the coffee shops are full all day, how on earth do they afford it" For the price of a coffee, you can sit there as long as you please and you will be given a glass of water with it which will be constantly topped up for free.In winter, you can stay warm and, in summer take advantage of their aircon to stay cool. For people struggling financially,it is a Godsend and a great place to meet friends in similar circumstances. In the evening, they are often filled with groups of young people as there is no tradition of teens drinking alcohol. It would be unthinkable, even in very popular 5 star eating establishments, for them to have a shift system whereby you have to vacate your table by a certain time.
Some things, like the post, for instance, don't work well here, but the cafe/dining culture is exceptional.

Did my week’s shopping, came home and put it all away and then went to the tip with things I’d cleared out at the weekend. It was a “lovely” way to spend 30 minutes, 😳 queuing to get to the skips, but at least it’s done.
Same here Lily, it was only supposed to be until lockdown ended but even though the majority of residents don't like or want it the council have left it in place, something to ask the candidates about when they come round touting for votes for the election!

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
We can just turn up whenever we want, which is a bonus. It’s closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but for the rest of the week, and at weekends, it’s open from 10am until 6pm. It closes a bit earlier in winter.
I usually pop down on Fridays, when there are no queues, so whatever possessed me to go down on a Wednesday heavens only knows. 🙄 At least the bags are out of house now though, until my next clear out, and it made a change to take bags of something other than leaves. My gardener takes those now.
