From my bedroom balcony, I used to be able to see into part of the back yard of a neighbour across the field. He has brought up 3 sons single-handed, no idea of the circumstances, and has a business as a blind fitter.Every morning he would be hanging out washing before he went to work. The dry washing would be neatly folded into a laundry basket and left on a table. One day I watched in horror as 2 of our cats jumped onto his wall and, spying the basket, settled down to sleep on the clean clothes. I called them but they just settled down further and kneaded the clothes a bit more. A couple of years ago, he fenced off the bit I could see so I guess the laundry is safe now.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
Vet Nurse Whatshername here. My patient Oz has decided to avoid me like the plague. I am the one who puts those evil eye drops all over his squirming face and he's done with it.
