I went to the gate to take in a parcel yesterday and when I returned, there was a small kitten in the house! She helped herself to food from the cats all-day buffet and hopped up into my arms , fearlessly. I put her on the porch last night and she joined the breakfast queue this morning.. Since we took in Kirsty and her kittens, 5 years ago, we have always said we don't want or need any more cats - the only exception would be if one turned up on the doorstep as we couldn't turn it away. Hmmmmm...... We have called her Alice after the parody song 'Alice, Alice, who the f*** is Alice!'
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
So sweet Cass, you can't them away once they've chosen you!
Have you checked to see if you have a secret sign on the gate post like the one's travellers leave to tell stray cats that they will be fed and watered here?
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
Alice kitten is into everything, another reason we didn't want any more as it's like having a hyperactive toddler that can jump. Hopfully , she will settle once she gets more used to her surroundings. It's not as if we could find another home for her as all the cat charities are bursting at the seams so she is here to stay and has already decided which is her chair. She had obviously decided we were a soft touch.
