Mrs M and Moodyson II are off to London tomorrow for three nights. Bloody tourists. I will be in charge of H and two cats. Millie will be no bother but Effie is bloody horrible these days and has already taken a chunk out of my arm for no reason. Tomorrow I'm at work so it will have to be separate quarters, after that I will be here and it will be hell.
Alice is one smart kitten. She knew her name after only 3 days, only raised her head when we called Alice, ignored the other cat’s names. They all have their special place in the kitchen when feeding and she goes to her designated place and waits when I get the food out . She is not always popular with the others as she loves chasing their tails. They sometimes join in her mad games but she does tend to get over excited so they leave her to it. With a new cat, we normally introduce them slowly but, after arriving unannounced and determined to stay, Alice did her own introductions. To a small bouncy kitten, the others must seem like a load of middle-aged and elderly bores but she seems to have galvanised them and they have developed a new interest in catnip mice and play tunnels. I'll try to post pics but still don't have much luck posting them.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I thought it was a cat at first, that's why I put it in this thread. Then when the link opened here, it was much bigger and it's a puppy. My brother has a peculiar mutant Jack Russell that we call Piglet, so I can understand any confusion.
