If I saw something that I liked and knew would suit me then I'd happily buy clothes from Lidl. Can you guess that I'm not bothered about designer labels for anything, whether it be clothes, shoes or hand bags?
I have quite a few bits and pieces from Lidl. It's all casual wear, but it's reasonably decent casual wear! Their leggings are great, as are their tights - just got some leggings for £3.99 and thermal tights at £2.99 or two for a fiver. Joggers, jeans, cropped trousers, t-shirts and tunics, all from them in the last couple of years and I don't think I paid more than £7.99 for anything.
Tchibo was a great little shop/coffee house - did anyone have one of those? The well made, inexpensive, random selection of merchandise changed every week so unless you had a leaflet you had to take pot luck.
I've still got leather toilet bags, stainless steel kitchen utensils and rail, opera glasses, fleece gilet, Easter decorations and some jewellery - eclectic or what! Oh, and the coffee was delicious too.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
We are fortunate in having two Aldi shops quite near and a Lidl store even nearer. I do the bulk of my food shopping in one or the other. I love the big baskets area - the non food area. I leave Himself to analyse weights & measures per pence & take a wander. I've bought scarves, socks & slippers but not clothing.
We had a Tchibo too. I don't think I ever stopped for coffee, but I would pop in for a browse if I was passing. The non-clothing bit of Lidl reminds me of Tchibo in that it is a weird mix of stuff and changes every week!
