The new Dep Mode song that was mercilessly remixed from a 20 second taster that they put out a few months ago has now been officially released. I didn't care for it much but just saw the official video which makes much more sense. Dark.
Even longer ago, 45 years (yesterday) Gary Numan (or Valerian as the daft bugger called himself then) introduced himself. Mine was a limited 2x7" copy.
Most Underworld tracks that get the remix treatment tend to suffer for it, Underworld remix other artists, not the other way round. However this one remixed by Bedrock is just slightly tweaked, leaving much of the original in place while adding a slightly new dimension. It works really well.
Another one of those bloody studio versions dubbed over live clips, but footage is rare so we have to appreciate the efforts. This one is wonderful, Black Heart by Marc & The Mambas. Almond was at this point off his face on drugs and Soft Cell was about to implode, albeit in an entertaining way.
I need help, bloomin' earworms! I woke up with this in my head and cannot get rid of it.I tried to pass it on to Sam but he didn't recognise it -turns out it was in the charts a year before he was born. I could just about bear it if it was even a decent song. Here, let me share my misery ~
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
