As I know from personal experience, it takes four hours for the kidneys etc to process what we drink so there is a great risk of dehydration for all participants, especially on a hot day. ☹️

A great specatacle and the ceremony was very interesting, a real sense of history. The Military were outstanding as usual, shame about the great British weather affecting the fly-past. I held my breath about the pen working too!
Personally, I would have preferred to see the whole thing occurring later in the year. There is no time limit for the coronation, maybe more people would have felt like celebrating as things ease later in the year.
I was reminded of Crackerjack when they started piling stuff onto Charles, robes , the huge gauntlet, orb, sceptre, crown. All he needed was for someone to place a cabbage precariously on top and mutter “ be careful not to drop anything, sire”.

I’m glad he got the Coronation over Frazz, as our oldest King coming to the throne I think he was wise plus it will bring the tourists in for the season.
