I went to a chiropodist years ago. Well she said she was a chiropodist. I suffer from hard skin on my heels. She had me in agony and barely able to walk. I came out with more plasters on my feet than I had toes. Never again!!
Unfortunately, I don't have a choice but to go every five weeks. As long as they are properly qualified there is no reason on earth why they should do you any harm.
Lots of charlatans in all field of life, sadly.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I went to a chiropodist a few years ago so he could refer me to the hospital to have my ingrowing toenails seen to on the NHS. It was the quickest way to get on the waiting list.
I am maimed at the moment - today in Sainsburys I kicked the trolley wheel whilst wearing Birkis and think I have broken my little toe so a chiropody appointment would be inappropriate at the moment ... LOL
