I cleaned up and tried it on.

Good heavy weight jersey for the cooler weather, it fits me perfectly and is quite flattering (for my apple shape) although, ideally, it could do with being a couple of inches longer but that's always a problem I have with dresses on my 5'10" frame. It's a very nice colour but it isn't teal, more like dark Air Force blue.

Mr Nell said "It needs an accessory" by which I assume he meant a necklace but I rather like the plainness of it and will opt for bigger earrings and bracelets.

Glad you like it too, FP, I have the aubergine colour from the last TSV otherwise I would have opted for the plum.

I prefer this style to the balloon dress - the crossover is very forgiving - but I must will not buy another.
