He's been helping me re-arranged the kitchen cupboards today! Darting in and out of them inspecting everything, chasing leaves and moss around on the floor as the back door has been open. The kitchen floor looks like autumn by the end of each day!
My last cats used to bring in moss and leaves it's a right pain, if the moss is wet you end up with mud all over the place and if it's dry it crumbles into sooty dust either way it's messy
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
Boots has been appearing in the front garden when he hears me out there the past week or so. It seemed unlikely he was climbing the fence but I assumed that's what he was doing. I had blocked the back gate with a couple of boxes so he couldn't use the gap made for Millie, but I caught him tonight climbing onto the boxes and squeezing through the 2 inch gap between the gate and the post! How do they do that!!
He's only playing around my car at the moment, but he now has access to the outside world.
He was chipped at 12 weeks with his second injection, just in case!
I put paid to his antics for now this morning by strategically positioning my kitchen fly-screen door and securing it, only to see him staring at me from the other side! He had beat me to it!
It's good for him to get familiar with the front, the road is no-through so traffic isn't too bad, I'd just rather he was a bit bigger before meeting another cat, and bit more scared of strangers. The next-door neighbour came round last to invite me to a BBQ tonight, and said they had been watching him come through a small gap (one I had missed!) under the fence and playing with an old tennis ball he found in their garden. I wondered where it had come from. LOL
Have paws will travel. I never thought Meg went far, just the lane and next door I thought. I held that thought until I was looking at the heron across the field one day through the binoculars & spied Missy stalking it. That ginger, black & White & tan coat is unmistakeable.
