Thanks everyone.

Spoke to the vet. He's perked up a bit. He's on fluids and the stuff to stop the nausea. They're doing repeat blood tests later today/tomorrow but need him on the fluids for at least 24 hours to see if they're working. He has to have a different blood test this morning and want to do a urine test but he hasn't had a wee. They're hoping he will but if not they'll need to insert a tube. They need the urine to rule out antifreeze as the poison.

He has eaten some fish but honestly that boy would have to be on his last knockings not to eat at all.

Visiting is after midday so I'll go and see him then. I'm off to work this morning but might come home this afternoon. I didn't sleep at all well and I've a banging headache.

The bill is enough to stop anyone sleeping but fortunately he's insured so it shouldn't be an issue. With today's blood tests I'm up to about £800.
