Best I've had in a long time, and we have some decent ones back home, Whitby and our area being a fish shop haven. How can somewhere in the arse end of nowhere be better?
I stop and order food from a restaurant and bring it home for us on some Friday nights. Especially after a tough work week of long days.
I love authentic Mexican food, Chinese food, a good fish or shrimp dinner. There is a Lebanese restaurant here that makes scrumptious stuffed grape leaves.
I wasn't exactly sure lily, I knew it was cooked on a vertical spit like doner meat but the rest was a gamble.
It was very good, but I think I was robbed as I expected it to include a naan bread. Nice though, although I expected the meat to be a bit spicy. It came with chips which were good and salad which included the most juicy jalapenos. And garlic dip of course. Moodyson had a shawarma wrap which was the meat and salad (no jalapenos) in a tortilla wrap, Mrs M had cheesy chips and salad. She can't do spicy food so she had to dig her jalapenos out.
I meant to take a photo but forgot, here's one similar...
