I would have eaten them, if I liked baked beans. I happily eat week old cooked chicken and loads of stuff past it's sell-by date. Nose and eyes are the best guide, I find.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
It’s safer to leave them in the fridge in a sealed tub, than to leave them for a week in an opened tin. I wouldn’t have eaten them though because I eat them as soon as I’ve opened the tin, so there wouldn’t have been any left to put in a tub. 😉

I assume as a single person you use those little tins that cost 2p less than a full size tin. Thus no waste. For two people we have to get the normal size can which contains enough beans for three. We have on occasion shared a full size can but it gets very
A large tin of baked beans can last me for 4-5 days. As long as they are in a container, fridge is at correct temperature and they smell okay, they are good to go for me. I think you would see mold forming in the sauce if they were iffy.

@lewis, I use the beans in a pot (if that’s what they’re called) if beans are part of a meal. I use a large tin if I’m having beans on toast for lunch. I can’t say I’ve noticed any adverse side effects to the air quality.
An idea that came up on Mrs M's phone, no idea what they're really called.
You will need: 2 plain bagels (not the cinnamon ones which are revolting) 1 can of Tuna Mayonaise Spring Onions Cheddar cheese grated (enough to cover 2 bagels)
Method: Mix up some tuna mayo and add spring onions to taste (ie lots) making tuna mayo crunch. Slice 2 bagels and toast them lightly (can be done in air fryer). Cover bottom half of each bagel with tuna mayo crunch. Sprinkle grated cheese over tuna mayo crunch and melt for a minute or so in air fryer (or whatever gadget you choose). Put bagel tops in place (on top ideally). Serve with Albert Bartlett's oven chips (again done in air fryer for best results) and salad.
Serves 2
Warning: Take care when biting into the thing in case the contents escape through the hole in the middle of the bagel all down your Fall t-shirt.
