I went down to the summerhouse this evening, but couldn't put the key in the lock. The keyhole had been packed tight with what looked like sheeps wool. It took me about 30 minutes with tweezers to clear it out from both sides of the door, and was gruesome in the middle with what had been flies etc, presumably for baby to feed on, which got well squished!
The picture is not mine, but it is exactly the same, and I tracked it down to the European Wood Carder Bee! It collects the wool from furry plant leaves. That's a first for me, who knew!
Talking of sheds, Ruby got locked ours yesterday. We only knew because Oz walked around it repeatedly & seemed very agitated. On release Ruby had a lot to say unfortunately! Don't you just hate it when the same thing is said over and over and ...
Having to watch out when I step out of the patio doors at night. I've nearly flatened a hedgehog more than once
Ruby had a strop on and stayed elusive when bedtime rolled round. She was out all night. She came in for breakfast, flicked her tail & was off out again.
