Homophobic and racist comments apparently made by Reform UK members have been recorded by an undercover Channel 4 journalist while they campaigned for Nigel Farage to become Clacton's MP.
Reform UK said those making "unacceptable comments" will no longer be part of Mr Farage's campaign. The secret recordings feature a conversation between individuals identified in the programme as Rob Bates, a senior Reform UK campaigner, and two other men linked to the party.
One man linked to the party appears to make homophobic comments, describing a Pride flag on a police car as a "degenerate flag". "What are the old bill doing promoting that crap?" he asks the group.
He repeatedly suggests members of the LGBT+ community are paedophiles and criticises police attending Pride.
Nigel has said that the whole thing was a set up by his so-called campaigners, they will all be sacked and he will not have racists and homophobes in his party.
Which of course is complete bollox.

Mrs M is visiting her parents. They had a knock on the door, it was Sir Simon Clarke.
His opening shot was "I've been endorsed by Reform for you to vote for me."
An odd way to introduce yourself, but apparently meaning vote for him or you'll get Labour. We do not have a Reform candidate here, so I can only assume he places himself more inline with Reform than with the Conservatives, ie. he's a racist and a homophobe.
Anyway he was soon sent on his merry way, I shall find out what FIL said to him later, although curiously I would have had FIL down as a Reform supporter given his previous form.
