Vet rang to say she was awake and vocal, her temperature was down, although not quite back to normal, but he felt she'd be better off at home, so we could go and collect her.
She was pleased to see us, in her usual restrained way. The vet said he hadn't managed to get her to pee, despite her being loaded with fluids, and she must have an amazing bladder! Her spleen was very large (just normal large, not enlarged) and the mass was contained and in one end of it.
She did a big wee when we got home, and scoffed 4 sausages, and is now resting on her bed. Hopefully, the news from the pathology will be good.
Pleased to hear that Princess was well enough to come home with you and that her temperature is going in the right direction. Big to you and very gentle ones for Princess as she's probably feeling a little bit sore.
I'm so glad to hear that she's back home. That will certainly help her recovery because "there's no place like home." And keep the supply of sausages going.
Lots of moaning during the night, she wanted me to hold her paw. She's still not got much appetite, but I managed to get her tablet down and she ate some ham.
She's been out and had a drink, and a toddle round the garden, so it's slow and steady progress.
