She is going to feel a bit ropey Cog. Poor little girl has had an operation and is probably thinking "what was that all about?". Your Vet sounds good and if she is eating a bit and drinking she should recover nicely.
It's taken a lot out of you and Mr Cog, obviously.
Princess is still probably feeling the effects of the anaesthetic, they could take a few days to clear but drinking plenty will help. Expect she's also feeling rather sore but perhaps she's got painkillers for that. Have the vets given you any indication when her results will be back?
She was very alert yesterday, woke up with no appetite, but ate some chicken later. She even wanted to go out, so Mr Cog walked her to the corner and back.
She doing remarkably well, all things considered. You can tell she's still in pain, but she's being really brave, poor girl.
No appetite again this morning, but she's been in the garden and is very alert. We're back at the vet at 10.15am, I really hope her temperature's down.
Vet is pleased with her progress, there's no swelling of the wound, and it's healing nicely, but her temps not back to normal yet, although it's going down. Back on Weds morning.
