Honestly @sacha, yesterday I thought she was going to die, she was so poorly, she couldn't even get up in the morning. I'm convinced the anti inflammatory is doing more harm than good. This morning, without it, she was so much better, so I'm discontinuing them for now to see how she gets on.

The lab promised the vet the results would be back today, and when the vet chased them up, he was told they couldn't release them without a signature from someone who wasn't there, so we have to wait till Tuesday now, I'm absolutely fuming. It's upsetting enough, without being forced to wait another 4 days.

And so frustrating and prolonging the agony really, to now have to wait until next week.

My god that is awful ! I feel for you and yes if she is better without the meds then stop them , I have everything crossed for Tuesday

Red tape crap, that's disgraceful.

You did right stopping the anti inflammatory @incognito, but to have to wait across the bank holiday for any more news is unbelievable. Hoping Princess continues to get better in the meantime.

So sorry to hear about the backwards step yesterday, but I think you've done the right thing by stopping the anti-inflammatories because, as Nellie said, they're not the best thing to take on an empty stomach.

Thank you all so much for your kind words, it really helps.

This morning she was actually up and waiting for us, although she's still not really hungry in the morning, the only thing she wants to eat is cheese!

She definitely is brighter today, and wanted to go out for a walk, and I'll cook some chicken for her to eat later, when she has an appetite.

We're trying not to read too much into her seeming better today, because until the results come back, we just don't know what's going on.
