As it appears to clash with other things we record, I thought I'd buy the DVDs for Mr Nell as a belated birthday pressie. He got a bit overlooked in the move. LOL
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.

It seems to be getting a bad press in some quarters but I think it is because it hasn't attempted to make the story into a Tudor Romp. I am enjoying it massively.
So am I Flying Pigs. Everything that people are criticising - the portrayal of the characters, their motives, the dialogue even the lighting on set, I find inspiring.
I recorded last weeks and watched it with subtitles and there were two parts that I if I hadn't been able to read the dialogue I wouldn't have known what he'd said, I rewound it listened again and even knowing what it was it was totally incomprehensible!

I can't even be bothered to do that DD. I let it wash over me. I'm only watching it because nothing else is on that interests me at that time & I want to know who did it.
Another bugbear of mine is the way the BBC are using their national news programs to promote their shows, they've recently done pieces on how Wolf Hall was made and last week was about EastEnders' being broadcast live this week for the 'who killed Lucy? plot. I actually watch both these shows but their storylines aren't news stories and when I watch the news I want real news it shouldn't be being used in this way it's blatant advertising
